The Three Questions to Ask About Any Writing Task
Whenever we write for a living, whether it be a press release, a news article, a social media post or a whitepaper, we focus on the “what.” But it’s just as important to think about the who will be reading what you write, and what the best way is to get your point across.
In this presentation, Jeremy Elwood will talk about the three most important questions you need to ask as you prepare to share information. Remembering these three questions will help you write more clearly, stay laser-focused on your goals, and make stronger connections with your audience.
About the speaker:
Jeremy Elwood is a senior corporate communications specialist for Monett-based Jack Henry, one of the nation’s largest providers of technology solutions for banks and credit unions. He has nearly 20 years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations and marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Missouri State University and is working toward a master’s degree in applied communications. Jeremy also served as president of the southwest Missouri chapter of PRSA in 2020.
