We are going to unpack the role of media in the progression of the Diversity and Inclusion Narrative.

This event is presented in conjunction with the PRSA St. Louis chapter and our fellow chapters throughout the Midwest District.


About the Presenters
Burnéa Lester serves as the Evaluation & Learning Manager for the UMSL Community Innovation & Action Center, Burnea brings over a decade of experience in catalyzing organizations and people to most effectively do their work —empowering staff and students through key performance indicators, coaching and training. She has developed expertise in project and relationship management, strategic planning, data systems, and higher education administration. Burnea received a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University, a Master of Arts degree in Media Communication and Media Literacy from Webster University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Educational Leadership from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Burnea is the co-founder of IN-JN Media Group, a video media production company, and co-founder of the Art of Adaption, a training platform for teaching and training on diversity, equity and inclusion.

As Clayco's director of field diversity, inclusion & culture, Dan Lester focuses primarily on endeavors that affect the community as a whole. Addressing the culture of job sites and making them more inclusive. Dan has the ability to help people navigate and successfully find solutions to the diversity and inclusion issues they see at their companies. He believes people are our best and most important assets and he knows having a successful and diverse team is what makes a business thrive. Dan's passion has been recognized in the St. Louis community and nationally as a diverse business leader, inclusion champion & top one hundred HR influencers of 2020. Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management Information Systems with a minor in Information Science & Technology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Dan is the co-founder of IN-JN Media Group, a video media production company, and co-founder of the Art of Adaption, a training platform for teaching and training on diversity, equity and inclusion.
